Economic Analysis & Modeling: Produced for the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service, this report quantifies the role of Greater Portland in Maine's economy. Economic modeling shows how variations in in-migration will impact the region's growth over the next twenty years.
Economic Impact Assessment: 45 North valued the potential economic impact of a new Institute for Local Food System Innovation at St. Joseph's College.
State Budget Primer: This primer translates the massively complex state budget into a 20-page primer for new legislators and other stakeholders. Distributed in partnership with the Maine Development Foundation, the primer has been called "an exceptionally clear explanation of Maine's budget" (Dana Connors, Maine State Chamber of Commerce).
Popular Press: "Research Shows How Childhood Poverty Squeezes Maine Businesses." This Portland Press Herald op-ed, written with Dana Connors, President, Maine State Chamber of Commerce, summarizes findings presented by 45 North at a series of community forums held across Maine in 2017.
Data Analysis: Ever wonder how to make sense of all the data available to today's municipal leaders?
